odi century of his career with that 154.
Amla broke India captain Virat Kholi’s record has he
smashed his 154 runs off just 134 balls to help South Africa thrash Sri Lanka
5-0 in their home ODI series.
He become only the second South African cricketer after
Jacques Kallis to score a total 50 international
Centuries. Hashim Amla achieved the feat in just his
348th international innings, the quickest among all batsmen.Kallis is
the leading South Africa century maker with 62. He is the seventh batsmen to score
over 50 or more international centuries.
Sachin Tendulkar leads the list with 100, followed by
Ricky Ponting with 71, Kumar Sangarkara with 63,
Kallis with 62, Jayaverdene with 54 and Brian Lara with
53. Among the all batsmen in the list,
only Mahele Jayacerdene has a century in all three formats of the game.
