What is Tourism

 Tourism is travel for happy journey and pleasure. Accommodating , business of attracting, business operating tours and entertaining tours. Tourism maybe international or within the traveler country.
Tourism can be domestic or international, and international tourism has both incoming and outgoing implication on a county’s source of economy. Today tourism major source of income for many countries, and affect the economy of both the source and host countries, in some cases being of vital importance.

Why Tourism

Tourism is important, even vital, source of income for many regions and country. Tourism brings in large amount of income into a local ecoonmy in the form of payment for goods and services needed by tourists, accounting for 30% of world,s trade of services, and 6% overall exports of goods and services.
It’s also creates opportunities for employment in the services sector of the economy associated with tourism. The service industries with benefits from tourism include transportation services, such as airlines, cruise chips, taxicabs, hospitality services such as accommodations, including hotels and resorts; and entertainment venues, such as amusement parks, casinos, shopping malls, music venues and theaters. His is in addition to goods bought by tourists, clothing and other supplies.



International Tourist arrival in 2015

International tourist arrivals grew by 4.4% in 2015 reach a total of 1,184 million in 2015, according to the latest World Tourism Barometer. Some 50 million more tourist traveled to international destinations around the world last year as compared to 2014.                                                                                  International tourism reached new heights in 2015. “ 2015 results were influenced by exchange rates, oil prices and natural and man made crises in many part of the world. By, region Europe, the Americas and Asia and the pacific all recorded around 5% growth in 2015. Arrivals to Middle East increased by 3% while in Africa, limited data available, points to an estimated 3% decrease, mostly due to weak results in North Africa, which accounts for over one third of arrivals in the region.



International Tourist Arrival in 2016

International  tourist arrivals worldwide grew by 4% between January and June 2016 compared to the same period last year. Destinations worldwide received 561 million international tourists and 21 million more than in 2015, according to the latest UNWTO world tourism barometer.

“Tourism proven to be one of the most resilient economic sectors worldwide.It is creating jobs for millions, at a time when providing retrospectives for a better feature to people of all regions is one of our biggest challenges. But tourism is also creating bond among  people of all nations and backgrounds  bringing down stereotypes and fighting fear and destruct”, said UNWTO Secretary General, Taleb Rifai
